Monel Mesh offers excellent resistance to seawater and steam from low to elevated temperatures. Monel Mesh is also resistant to rapidly flowing brackish water, scc, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid in the deaerated conditions. he product forms include woven screen, perforated metal, expanded metal and sintered mesh. Customers can choose any alloy, mesh type and specification upon their application requirement.
This high-performance mesh is typically used in marine, chemical, power generation, and aerospace environments, but it is suitable for various applications including commercial cooking, filtration, heating, boiling, dyeing, refining, demistering, and desalination. We have the capacity to manufacture meshes with wires from 1,2 to 12 mm and of any aperture, square or rectangular.
Monel 400 Wire Mesh® comes in a range of sizes. With a 2 mesh size, two wires will run in each direction per square inch, which creates relatively large openings about the size of a pencil. 16 mesh will have 16 wires running in each direction per square inch and is commonly used for medium filtration needs such as window and door screens.
