Structured Grid Packing (KUBPAK Grid)

structured grid packing

The KPT Structured Grid Packing is an advanced variation of conventional structured packing, specifically designed to handle severe service conditions. Utilizing a smooth metal surface, this grid packing minimizes areas where fouling can initiate, making it ideal for applications prone to fouling, coking, erosion, and those involving high solid content.

Engineered with a robust mechanical structure, the KPT Grid Packing is produced in modular units, ensuring easy installation and cleaning. Its design not only offers high capacity but also maintains a minimal pressure drop, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial applications.

Key Features of KPT Structured Grid Packing:

High Capacity & Low-Pressure Drop: Designed to maximize efficiency with minimal resistance, ensuring optimal performance in high-demand environments.

Superior Resistance: Excellent resistance to coking, fouling, corrosion, and erosion, making it suitable for harsh operating conditions.

Robust Mechanical Strength: Built to withstand rigorous use, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliable operation.

Ease of Installation & Maintenance: Modular design reduces installation and removal time, allowing for quick and efficient maintenance.

KPT Structured Grid Packing is the preferred choice for industries requiring high-efficiency solutions in challenging conditions, including chemical processing, petrochemical refining, and other high-performance applications. Trust KPT for grid packing that delivers exceptional results, even in the most demanding environments.

FAQ'S

It is an adaptation of the conventional structured packing which uses a smooth metal packing surface to eliminate areas on the packing where fouling can begin.

This kind of structured packings is developed for severe services susceptible to fouling, coking, erosion, and applications involving high solid content.

It can provide extended operation in fouling services. Both, corrugated sheet metal and stamped blades are considered grid packing types as they are highly durable with large open areas for highly fouling process streams.

Random packing uses a random distribution of small packing materials to assist in the separation process, while structured packing uses larger, fixed packing structures.
