Structured Grid Packing (KUBPAK Grid)

STRUCTURED Grid Packing (KUBPAK Grid)

The KPT Structured Grid Packing is a variation of the conventional structured packing which utilizes a smooth metal packing surface to dispose of regions on the packing where fouling can start. These packings are produced for severe services susceptible to fouling, coking, erosion, and applications including high strong substance.
The Grid packing has a powerful mechanical structure, manufactured in modules for simple establishment and cleaning. The Grid Packing offers minimum pressure factor drop and high capacity.

FAQ'S

It is an adaptation of the conventional structured packing which uses a smooth metal packing surface to eliminate areas on the packing where fouling can begin.

This kind of structured packings is developed for severe services susceptible to fouling, coking, erosion, and applications involving high solid content.

It can provide extended operation in fouling services. Both, corrugated sheet metal and stamped blades are considered grid packing types as they are highly durable with large open areas for highly fouling process streams.

Random packing uses a random distribution of small packing materials to assist in the separation process, while structured packing uses larger, fixed packing structures.
